Welcome to the Catahoula Parish Sheriff web page.  Here you will find information about our office and descriptions of our duties, plus our office address and telephone numbers. Please feel free to contact us if we can be of service to you. 

Duties and Responsibilities

The Sheriff is elected at-large and serves a four-year term.  The Sheriff's law enforcement duties include keeping peace within the parish.  Administrative duties include serving as the parish's jailor, collection and distribution of court fines, submitting a budget of his office to the Policy Jury, keeping Louisiana Department Reports, and keeping a jail docket.

Jail Roster

The Sheriff also serves as the Ex-Officio Tax Collector for the Parish which includes the collection and distribution of the ad valorem taxes, state revenue sharing and federal revenue sharing.
